We built the integration, to make it easier for businesses and governments who already use or want to use Microsoft Entra’s secure setup and make it work with the walt.id stack.

Here’s an overview of the most important capabilities this integration enables:

  • Issue IDs from Microsoft using standard and custom templates via one API call to the broadly used Microsoft Authenticator App or the walt.id web wallet.

  • Verify IDs utilizing walt.id’s pre-built and custom policies, enabling a fine-grained verification experience.

  • Build issuer, verifier, and wallet solutions that work with Microsoft IDs and other common ID credential standards, such as W3C SD-JWTs and Mobile Driver's Licenses (ISO/IEC 18103-5 mDL).
